A beggar's mission.

It was a cold windy day. It was as if the sun had simply disappeared, nowhere to be found. Workers, businessmen, couples, all hurriedly rushed through the streets, wanting to get to the comfort and warmth of their own homes, away from this miserable weather. Amidst this crowd, was a young teen of age 13. He had dark grey eyes, a pinched nose, and fair hair. His clothes were in rags and tatters and his body was agonizingly slender. In other words, he was a street urchin, and he was on a mission.

The boy was in a parking lot near the local supermarket. He was poor, he was starving and he had no choice and so he had decided to finally do it. He crept near to an expensive convertible that he had noticed. The car was a beauty. Its vibrant colors and gorgeous style made it stand out amongst the other cars. The boy reached the car’s door, and pulled out a metallic piece of wire that he himself had carefully constructed and pushed into the car’s lock. This was the most crucial part of the mission. If this didn’t work, then he would be a total failure he thought to himself and slowly turned the key.

Nothing happened.

The boy tried again, too fearful to give up and this time, the lock clicked and the door swung open. He grinned with glee and stepped inside only to notice the man already sitting inside the driver’s seat. This man seemed to be in his early 20s and was fair and handsome. He had an amazing built and his posture radiated warmth and kindness.

But his grip was like steel, as the boy soon found out and realized that he was gone. The man was not angry though, he was curious and the boy felt he was understanding too. So he found himself telling the man everything about himself, from the time he lost his mother to the time he started begging. And how he finally could stand it no longer and tried to steal. The man just kept on nodding with every sentence and when the boy finally stopped, the man's eyes softened and he gestured to the boy to get in the car.

“You don’t need to worry about being poor anymore kid” he said. “Now you can live with me, I can feed you, give you a home.. How’s the idea?” The boy’s eyes widened at this prospect and he shyly smiled and simply said “Amazing.”

That’s that, the man and the boy were soon on their way. And the boy grinned evilly to himself. Phase 1 completed, he laughed maniacally in his mind. The murder’s just next on the list…
